Ups-Downs and All-Arounds

Martha once again was all over the hospital again today, from 9AM-6PM. Before we could get back to Target House and fix dinner, the home health nurse arrived to deliver and assist with her nightly transfusions. Some of this could be aleviated if they were not running two hours behind with her afternoon appointments.

We started the morning off on schedule but everything went downhill shortly after she got out of school. She ended up waiting so long that she finished her algebra homework, now that's saying something! We also had time to make a few calls and check-in with child-life.

Anyway, maybe Martha will go off TPN by the end of the week.
Keep pushing her to EAT and DRINK and Y'all - WATCH THIS SITE.

"I'D THINK" (I know--that's dangerous)????? ,that all that ALGEBRA would quickly work up an appetite. This is STRAWBERRY season!!!& what about homemade shortcake & fresh strawberries covered with ice cream. But before that fresh spinach salad & home made Chicken & dumplins with "homemade chicken & dumplins".?? Don't forget the Ice tea. You EAT that & I guarantee you will "GROW TALL LIKE ME".
NO MORE "TPN" by Friday !!!, so say the "QUEEN OF ALGEBRA" ..
Hugs -U, Gramt. T.

Both of you look amazing for all you have been through. We are having our House Warming this Saturday, wish you could be here but you all got to see before anyone and you can come visit us after you get home. The weather was a little ruff here last night, I think the sierns went off 3 different times, man it was black outside. Thank goodness it went on over without touching down. I would love those elephants in my front yard but Paul would just have another obstacle to mow around.Oh, Well, Love you both.

It is so good to see Martha up and moving around. She even managed a smile once in a while. It is at least nice to spend the night at the Target house instead of the hospital. It sounds like Martha is busier now that she is outpatient than when she was inpatient. Lots of love, Dad and Arletta
