How's the Weather?

The weather here has been very typical of Tulsa at this time of year. For those of you who don't live in Tulsa that means daily highs around 80+, with cooler nights. But last night we had a tornado warning come through that caused a whole lot of lightning. Now let me tell ya, I don't know if it's the BIG river that causes this or what, but this town has some serious lightning. I don't think it's just chance either, because each time there has been thunderstorms the lightning has been terriffic. It was cloudy/overcast all day due to the storm that blew through. The morning was misty and cold as we left for the hospital. We are looking forward to returning to Tulsa weather, cause we know the sun shines brighter on our true "stompin' grounds."

Martha had a good day today. Her schoolteacher, Mr. Medford has got her LOVING algebra, isn't that amazing. She talked to Mrs. Blackwelder at Nathan Hale and somehow this got her even more excited about graduation, if that was possible. Only problem left, she has nowhere to wear her Prom dress. Her next plan of attack is to persuade Dr. Kasow to let her go home in time for the Prom & Military Ball on May 12th & 13th. Good Luck with that Martha.....

Martha, I love the smile. It is great as always. I guess people there take their tornado weather more seriously than we do here. The puppies are getting bigger. They both have their “surgery” this Monday, 5-1-06. Dad tells me the whole thing is bothering me more than it will bother the puppies. I will keep you posted. Lots of love, Dad and Arletta
