Movin' on up to Target House
Front Entrance

Guess what we did last night!? We moved from Grizzlies House to Target House in less than one hour! After Martha spent two hours working on an Art Project for the upcoming show, we walked back to Grizzlies. Upon getting back, we hear from Michael that someone left a message telling us to contact Patient Services because we were to move NO later than 5PM, well that was at 4 o'clock! So we ran back to the hosptial, got the info; then packed our room and loaded the van in marathon time. Target House is about three miles from the hospital, in what's called "Midtown Memphis" which reminds us of the Cherry Street/Brookside area of Tulsa.
It actually took longer for the night manager to give our orientation and tour than it did for us to pack & move. (For those of you at work: Let me tell ya, the orientation and this apartment totally remind me of upscale SHP - they have weekly apartment inspections!) There is not enough space to tell you about the amenities, but they are amazing, and for those of you visiting I look forward to giving you the grand tour! I sure am glad Martha had a chance to see what she's coming home to when she recovers from the transplant. Everybody do something wild & crazy on Sunday in honor of Martha's last day of freedom for awhile. She goes into the hospital at 8PM Sunday to get this party REALLY started.
Thanks to everyone for keeping Martha in your thoughts and prayers.

Lots of Love---
Wow! What a beautiful place you will be staying in. Love and miss you.
UGGG,
I don't wanna work today, can I sit here and blog all day? Every time I feel like whining about how tough the last month has been, I think of what you are going through and shut my mouth. Stress like yours can kill a family.
Michael, it may feel like your getting lost in the moves, but you are more important to your family than you will ever realize. For the rest of your life you will be able to wake up each morning and know, when life shat upon you, you did the right thing. There is nothing more important than family. Sacrifice is hard work, it's not a 9 to 5 job. You deserve combat pay, living with TWO women under stress (two to one isn't fair under normal circumstances). Why have we not seen any pictures of you? If you want to growl in them, that is OK, just get in a shot or two. Who knows, some biker babe might see you online and want your number.
And, Michael, you could just get online and tell us all to go to .... Just for grins :) That is what anonymous is for!!!! Or, just type @#%!* and your mom can translate for us. You deserve to be angry about what has happened to your family. Let it out, we can take it.

Time for my morning nap under my desk.
The Target house looks beautiful. Today is Martha’s first full day as inpatient. I will be anxious to here how things go. Yesterday we celebrated J-Man’s birthday. He will turn 10 on March 30th. I am really getting old now that I have a grandchild in double digits. It was great having everyone together. Everyone is doing well. Lots of love and prayers, Dad and Arletta.
Hey Martha!!! This is Ann (remember, the one you "got to know so well" during the last procedure here), Sheryl, and Laura at the Urgent Care Center at St Francis. We miss you, and we were excited to find your blog!
So, found any Dr. McDreamys there in Memphis? Give us a report!
>>> Hey Marth, its Sheryl, I heard you was just slacking up there. Man what you won't do to get out of town!! Terry just walked by and said how's the slums in Memphis? You just can't get a break from this crew can you? I hope you are holding your own and don't let those Memphisians pull anything over on ya! Take care and we will blog ya later chick! Your loving and adorable and hot looking nurses at St. Francis!!!!
